I was searching on Amazon for a decent gel pen. Previously I had been using the Pilot G2 blue bold 1.0 mm. I liked it but I wasn't crazy about it. I came across these Uniball 207 pens and started to read the reviews. Once I started to read the reviews I thought I must be confused this can't be reviews about a pen. People were actually writing about when they misplaced their pen they would have panic attacks and would frantically look for these pens until they found them. No matter how long it took. Even calling friends and relatives looking for their pens. The way people talked about these pens was like the pens could actually read their mind and flow the ink to the paper. Many of the reviews talked as though these pens held some type of mystical powers within. I was very skeptical but I figured I would give them a try. I have to say that once the pens arrived within moments I was hooked. These pens flow so easy it's incredible. Within just a few moments I found myself filling page after page with my thoughts. This pen flows so smoothly I felt as though I really had to concentrate on what I was writing to keep up with the flow of the pen. I've been retired for the past 10 years now. For the previous 20 years I owned a licensed commercial/residential contracting corporation. I've tried many pens over the years. Including expensive desk set pens. I've never come across a pen that flows so easy. There's no problem with the ink taking too long to dry and smudging across the paper at all. I purchased a box of 12 from Amazon they worked perfectly right out of the box. There was no scratch paper or scribbling necessary. These pens are a perfect writing tool. My wife who's also retired happened to see me open the box of pens. Not long after I started writing with these pens she joined in. My wife began to give me her assessment of these pens not long after. Basically she sounded like the reviews of the women that I had been reading for this pen. My wife and I I've definitely found the pen that we will be using from now on.The difference in my handwriting is amazing since using these pens. When I'm using these pens I feel as though I don't have to apply any pressure for the ink to appear on the paper. It's as if my hand is just gliding across the pad. It gives the feeling that the pen is not even making contact with the paper. That's how smooth these pens write. My wife and I both use the Uniball be 207 gel bold 1.0 mm blue. We both love these pens. Basically after 42 years of marriage the only time that we even argue anymore is if one of us has the other one's pen.I love these pens. Always have for as long as I've used them (which is a long time). They're smooth and the ink dries reasonably fast. I can get effects because they roll and the ink flows well (IE I can practically write in boldface if I'm deliberate enough).I'm one of those people that writes everything that matters down on a sheet of paper... These pens are perfect for that. It helps me learn and commit things to memory. So it means I'm writing A LOT and that means my hands cramp if I'm not using a good pen. These pens have a nice relatively soft grip surface (so I don't squeeze as hard), I can write fast without them "dragging" on the paper, and I can write different lines and figures based on how hard I press and how fast I write - creating different widths and intensities - which works well if I need to chart/graph/sketch into my notes.I did mark these down from a value standpoint... Comparatively, they aren't cheap. They're one of my biggest vices, but I enjoy them enough I just deal with the cost. There are other options out there that are less expensive and can perform as well or similar, but they don't have the same look and feel. So I spend a little more money and enjoy using these pens a little more. Is it worth the money? Probably not, probably only for me and the person(s) that introduced me to them, they're the only way to go for me.My go-to pen used to be the Papermate Gel 1.0 (not the Ink Joy line). For whatever reason they discontinued that model pen in 1.0 which upset me greatly because they wrote great and I got tons of compliments and interwst in them. It took me forever to try and fail with other 1.0 pens from many different brands. Sharpie, Bic, Papermate, etc. All crap. THIS pen though, THIS 1.0 Gel pen write exactly like the one I originally kmy had and I live them. I can tell they're great, because everyone of my customers stares at the pen when they get done writing with it. That's a good sign. There so much interest in the pen, that I actually printed off a small screens hot of the box to give to them so they can order their own. You will not regret these. The only downfall, is that I've had a couple of them explode on me. I do however work outside in the Florida heat, and keep the pens tucked in my shirt against my body heat. So this might just be my specific experience. The good thing though, is the ink seems to be water soluble, so the ink has always washed right out. Ive used probably 5 full boxes so far, and I've had maybe three explode. BUY them you won't regret it!Got this because another user on here reviewed it very highly. My boyfriend works in hospital and needed new pens but complained of the larger print. So I bought this for him and he loves it! Says the print comes out clean, no bleeding, no smudging and he can write VERY small on patient charts.I LOVE pens. I am a pen addict. There. I said it. I have loved pens ever since my over-organized self bought a multi-colored set in college and used them to color-code the gazillion activities and jobs and assignments I had. That was... err... 35 years ago. I love to write, and draw, and doodle. I have a LOT of pens. I used to really love the Pilot Precise V7 Stick Rolling Ball Pens in fine point. I do prefer a finer point in my pen writing, and writing in purple was an added bonus. My son likes the Pilot Gs-07 in fine point and asks for a pack every year in his stocking. I've tried them... they're not for me. The line is too thick and almost gloppy in my opinion. The pen I use EVERY day... at work, at home, in the car, by my bedside.... is the Uniball micro 207 in medium. The medium in the Uniball micro 207 is finer than the G2 in medium. I know the G2 edge out in ratings. I don't know how... the Uniball micro 207 is the superior choice in my opinion... every time! The micro tip .5 mm is excellent for signing and Journaling so much so that I chose to replace the damaged box of .7 mm that were wet and needed replacing so I chose the .5 to replace at the higher price! Ink dries very quickly and is safe for bank use! These pens are my absolute favourites! They write so well you would think your five year old was an sign writer. Unfortunately the only bad thing about them is, that I work in a minor injury unit, and as we all know nurses are clever speedy stealth pen tea leafs! And my stock is drastically going down at warp speed, new box soon me thinks! However the staff are all happy and you can even read the doctors handwriting ??! They write so lovely! And speedy delivery from this seller. Thank you30% of the time the ink flows intermittently which is infuriating. What’s worse is it is impossible to write over where the ink does not appear. In addition to this, the box arrived crushed. These are lovely pens, the ink flows nicely without blotting or mess, and helps me with my more artistic writing style. I've used these Uniball Signo 207 pens previously and then moved to the updated 307 pens. Alas, inexplicably, the 307 pens in black seem to be unavailable now. So I've moved back to the 207. Been using the Uniball Signo pens for many years and they, for me, are the best.Having previously used pens called this and found them very comfortable to write with, I wanted to have some more once I had used them all, hence this order, however the design has changed and now they are only ok rather than very comfortable and easy to write with which is a shameOur family favourite pens. Loved by all the family. We always come back to the comfort and writing power of these pens
